The Poiano Resort, one of the largest and most famous resorts in Italy. Located on the hills overlooking Lake Garda in a riot of colours, flowers and olive trees, Poiano celebrates its 30th anniversary with a big new Spa that completes its offer and emphasises the management’s focus on all the complementary services provided to the meetings industry. The resort (120 rooms and 160 apartments) also has a large conference centre, and the Spa is positioned as a supplement to a Mice proposal already including many in-house sports facilities, as well as – thanks to the proximity of the lake – off-site activities of which Poiano is coordinator.
The Spa
Poiano La Spa offers sauna, bio sauna, Turkish bath, saltwater pool, experience showers, relaxation area and herbal tea, as well as four rooms for massages and treatments. It is open from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm from Friday to Sunday (however, the sauna, bio sauna and Turkish bath are not available before 2.00 pm), and has spectacular views of Lake Garda.
On offer is a great variety of treatments: sports and relaxing massages, Tibetan, Indian and Arab massages, lymphatic drainage, massages with stones, with candle, or customized according to Eastern and Western techniques; body and anti-aging treatments, scrub and ruby , sapphire or peridot massages, re-mineralizing treatments based on the volcanic mud of New Zealand, facial treatments (rebalancing, lymph drainage, cleaning, cleansing, toning and anti-aging) and beauty treatments (hair removal, Manicure and Pedicure).
The ingredients of the creams are made of precious stones and essential oils that leave the skin feeling soft and glowing.
The Mice offer
The new Spa, as mentioned, is alongside the Poiano Congress Centre, which features six meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 250 people (the total is more than 500 seats). The private park, with its 60 hectares of green, is suitable for all kind of practical demonstrations and is ideal for team-building activities. And in addition to the park, there are a number of sports facilities that can be used: Olympic swimming pool, gym with personal trainers, beach volleyball court, soccer field, six tennis clay courts and eight affiliated golf courses, from 18 to 36 holes, within 40 km.

More extensively, the Poiano Resort coordinates a local array of products and services, which is unique as a whole, specifically in relation to the area and its wonderful offerings: Guerrieri Rizzardi wine estates (Bardolino, Valpolicella, Soave, Prosecco and Pinot), Titasport supply centre (specializing in bicycle and guides for canyoning and climbing) and Risari optical, whose lenses are specially developed to enhance the golfing experience.
The location itself offers extraordinary authenticity, such as Valeggio’s tortellini, available in many varieties; and of course Lake Garda dominates everything with its majestic landscape, its gentle and placid waters, and its characteristic flora.
