A new player focusing on South Africa arrives in Italy: it’s Sabi (www.sabiworld.it). The company, based in Rome, comes to the Italian market with two initiatives in tourism and food.

Sabi organizes tailor-made highly customized trips to South Africa, extendible to other southern African countries such as Namibia and Botswana. With constant use of digital media, the traveller is increasingly informed and demanding, and shows more and more attention to the quality of proposals and services, as well as to the budget.

Paola Bollati, Sabi Product Manager, says: «While we can by now access any type of trip, we found that people prefer to be followed with care and pampered. They want to feel that it is their special trip. We have therefore decided to focus on personalized itineraries, modelled on the person».

Customers can refer to Sabi asking for a totally customized proposal based on their tastes and needs, as well as choosing the routes displayed on the site, which then get to be tailored.

Basic routes include city experiences with a stop in picturesque and vibrant Cape Town, visits and tastings in the wine cellars located in the charming surroundings of Cape Winelands, big-five-oriented safaris with stays in the elegant lodges of Mpumalanga province as well excursions and tours to discover the extraordinary South African nature.

The second project by Sabi, bringing Italy closer to South Africa’s culture and lifestyle, is importing fine wines to the Bel Paese, under exclusive contracts with some of the most prestigious South African wineries.
